New York @ New Orleans
Current Records: New York 0-3; New Orleans 2-1
What to Know
The New Orleans Saints will be returning home after a two-game road trip. They will take on the New York Giants at 1 p.m. ET Sunday at Caesars Superdome. New Orleans will be strutting in after a victory while New York will be stumbling in from a defeat.
The Saints didn’t have too much trouble with the New England Patriots on the road last week as they won 28-13. New Orleans’ RB Alvin Kamara filled up the stat sheet, snatching one receiving TD. Kamara had some trouble finding his footing against the Carolina Panthers two weeks ago, so this was a step in the right direction.
New York lost a heartbreaker to the Atlanta Falcons when they met in October of 2018, and they left with a heavy heart again last week. New York fell in a 17-14 heartbreaker. The contest was as close as the oddsmakers predicted, but they had been the slight favorite coming in. Their only offensive touchdown came from RB Saquon Barkley.
The Saints are now 2-1 while the Giants sit at 0-3. Two stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: New Orleans enters the game having picked the ball off six times, good for first in the NFL. But New York has yet to throw a single interception. These opposing strengths should make for an exciting matchup.
