What to Know
The Baltimore Ravens will take on the Detroit Lions at 1 p.m. ET next Sunday at Ford Field. Baltimore earned a 44-20 win in their most recent contest against Detroit in December of 2017.
It was a tight matchup that could have gone either way, but the Ravens made off with a 36-35 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Baltimore QB Lamar Jackson earned his paycheck as he passed for one TD and 239 yards on 26 attempts in addition to rushing for two TDs and 107 yards. Jackson ended up with a passer rating of 143.80.
Meanwhile, Detroit was first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their game against the Green Bay Packers on Monday. Detroit lost to Green Bay on the road by a decisive 35-17 margin. The losing side was boosted by QB Jared Goff, who passed for two TDs and 246 yards on 36 attempts in addition to picking up 46 yards on the ground. Goff ended up with a passer rating of 142.40.
Baltimore’s victory lifted them to 1-1 while Detroit’s defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We’ll see if the Ravens can repeat their recent success or if the Lions bounce back and reverse their fortune.
