Wagner @ Temple
Current Records: Wagner 0-3; Temple 1-2
What to Know
The Wagner Seahawks are staying on the road Saturday to face off against the Temple Owls at noon ET Sept. 25 at Lincoln Financial Field.
The contest between the Seahawks and the Saint Francis U Red Flash last week was not a total blowout, but with Wagner falling 39-24 on the road, it was darn close to turning into one.
Meanwhile, the day started off rough for Temple last week, and it ended that way, too. Things couldn’t have gone much worse for them as they lost 28-3 to the Boston College Eagles. The Owls were in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 21 to nothing. QB Justin Lynch had a pretty forgettable game, passing for only 161 yards on 24 attempts.
The Seahawks have to know they’ll be fighting an uphill battle given the 35.50 point spread they are up against. Those betting on them against the spread shouldn’t have high expectations for them since the squad is 0-2 ATS when expected to lose.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. Check back to see which squad is able to work their way into the win column.
