Through 2 Quarters
The Maryland Terrapins are on the board, but we’re still waiting on the Howard Bison to respond. Maryland is way out in front at halftime with a 38 to nothing lead over Howard. The Terrapins already have more points in this game than they finished with last week.
Maryland has yet to string together two consecutive wins, but this may be their chance. For now, all signs point to yes.

What to Know
The Howard Bison are staying on the road Saturday to face off against the Maryland Terrapins at 7:30 p.m. ET Sept. 11 at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium. Maryland should still be riding high after a victory, while the Bison will be looking to get back in the win column.
Howard was expected to have a tough go of it last week, and, well, they did. Things couldn’t have gone much worse for them as they lost 38-14 to the Richmond Spiders. The last quarter was a mere formality since it was already 38-14 by the third quarter.
Meanwhile, Maryland didn’t have too much breathing room in their game with the West Virginia Mountaineers last week, but they still walked away with a 30-24 win. Maryland QB Taulia Tagovailoa was slinging it as he passed for three TDs and 319 yards on 36 attempts. Near the top of the highlight reel was Tagovailoa’s 66-yard TD bomb to WR Dontay Demus Jr. in the first quarter.
Howard was pulverized by the Terrapins 79 to nothing when the teams previously met two seasons ago. Can the Bison avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We’ll soon find out.
