Through 2 Quarters
The Texas State Bobcats need a win to get to even, but right now it could go either way. It’s anybody’s game at halftime, but Texas State is ahead of the FIU Panthers 10-7. A victory for the Bobcats would counteract both their recent loss and FIU’s recent win.
Texas State @ FIU

Last Season Records: FIU 0-5; Texas State 2-10
What to Know
The FIU Panthers will stay at home another week and welcome the Texas State Bobcats at 7 p.m. ET Sept. 11 at Riccardo Silva Stadium.
FIU simply couldn’t be stopped last week, as they easily beat the LIU-Post Sharks at home 48-10. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Panthers had established a 38-10 advantage.
Meanwhile, Texas State came up short against the Baylor Bears last week, falling 29-20. QB Brady McBride had a memorable game, but not in the way you want to be remembered: despite one touchdown, he threw three interceptions with only 173 yards passing.
FIU’s win lifted them to 1-0 while Texas State’s defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We’ll see if FIU can repeat their recent success or if Texas State bounces back and reverse their fortune.
